[Case Study] Controlling the Surface Roughness of Granite
We will introduce a case study of adopting a very rough surface finish to reduce charging during glass substrate peeling and prevent glass damage.
Our hand wrap technology allows us to finish stone products with suitable surface roughness according to various needs. Regarding surface roughness in terms of precision, we can accommodate a wide range from a rough finish of Ra5.0 to a mirror finish of Ra0.4 while maintaining flatness, compared to the standard lap finish of Ra0.8. [Adoption Examples] ■ Very Rough Surface Finish for Glass Substrate Vacuum Tables - The surface is roughened to reduce static electricity during the detachment of glass substrates, preventing breakage. - Maintains flatness while performing rough machining. - Supports on-site additional processing. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
